A Mother’s Advice 🌾
In a cozy little cottage right at the edge of a bright green meadow, lived a sweet Mother Goat and her seven tiny kids. Every single morning, their home was filled with happy laughter, gentle bleating, and the wonderful scent of wildflowers.
One sunny morning, Mother Goat picked up her basket and said, “My dear ones, I must go to the market today to gather fresh bread and sweet honey. Please lock the door tightly behind me. Open it only when you hear my voice.”
“But how will we know it’s really you, Mama?” asked the second little goat curiously.
Mother Goat smiled gently and kissed them on their heads. “You will know it is me because my voice is soft and sweet—like a beautiful song. And my feet are as white as pure snow. No one else in the forest has them.” The children nodded happily, and Mother Goat left for the market, humming a soft lullaby.

The Wolf’s First Trick 🚪
Danger was already hiding nearby! A clever and very hungry wolf had been watching the cottage from behind the rocks. The moment Mother Goat walked out of sight, the wolf wrapped a shawl around his shoulders, marched up to the door, and knocked loudly.
“My sweet children, open the door!” the wolf called out in his deep, gravelly voice. “It’s Mama! I’ve brought yummy honey cakes and fresh milk for you.”
The second little goat frowned and shouted back, “No way! That’s not our Mama’s voice! Her voice is soft and sweet like a flute—not rough and deep like yours. You are the wolf!” Annoyed and grumbling, the wolf stomped away, but he wasn’t ready to give up.

Sweet Honey and White Flour 🍯
To fix his rough voice, the wolf ran straight to Shopkeeper Zebra’s market. “Hey, Zebra! My voice sounds rough as rocks—give me something sweet to fix it right now!” he growled. Shivering with fear, Shopkeeper Zebra handed over a large pot of sweet honey. The wolf gulped it all down, and instantly, his voice became smooth and sweet.
He rushed back to the cottage and knocked again, speaking as softly as he could: “My sweet children, open the door. It’s Mama.”
The fourth little goat peeked through a tiny crack in the door and looked down. “Wait a minute!” the kid whispered nervously to the others. “Your feet are dark and dirty! Our mother’s feet are always snow-white. You are not our Mama!”
The wolf looked down at his black paws and growled in frustration. He dashed over to Shopkeeper Rabbit’s bakery. “Hey Rabbit! I need your whitest flour to turn my paws snow-white!” The terrified rabbit quickly handed over his finest bag of rice flour. The wolf rolled his dark paws in the flour until they looked perfectly white, and sprinted back to the cottage.

The Door Opens Wide 🔓
The wolf knocked for the third time. “My little ones, open the door. Look—my feet are white, and my voice is soft. It’s really your Mama!”
The youngest little goat whispered anxiously, “Something still feels wrong… my heart says no.” But the third little goat was too excited. “Oh, don’t be silly, look at the white feet!” Before anyone could stop him, he unlocked the door and pulled it wide open.
With a terrifying roar, the wolf kicked the door open. “Ha! Fooled you all!”
The cottage turned into absolute chaos as the little goats screamed and scrambled to hide in every direction:
- Little Goat 1 hid quickly behind the long window curtains.
- Little Goat 2 jumped straight into the big cooking pot on the hearth.
- Little Goat 3 squeezed flat underneath the master bed.
- Little Goat 4 ducked quietly behind the tall kitchen cupboard.
- Little Goat 5 hopped inside a giant flour jar.
- Little Goat 6 curled up tightly behind a wooden barrel.
- Little Goat 7, the youngest and smallest, slipped into the tall grandfather clock.
“Run all you want! I will find each one of you!” the wolf roared. He searched the cottage and caught six of the frightened kids, stuffing them roughly into a giant sack. Laughing loudly, he slung the sack over his shoulder and ran back to his cave, completely missing the youngest kid hidden inside the clock.

A Mother’s Tears and Balu’s Promise 😢
When Mother Goat finally returned, her heart shattered. The door was wide open, chairs were overturned, and the cottage was completely silent. “My babies! Where are you?” she wept.
Suddenly, the door of the grandfather clock ticked open, and the youngest little goat ran out, sobbing into her apron. “Mama! The wolf came! He fooled us with white flour and took them all away in a giant sack!”
Wiping her tears, Mother Goat held her youngest tightly, and together they ran out of the house, following the wolf’s muddy footprints into the deep forest. Along the way, they crossed paths with Balu the Bear, a tall, gentle giant with kind brown eyes.
“Mother Goat, why are you crying so bitterly? What happened?” Balu asked with deep concern. After hearing the terrible news, Balu stood up tall and determined. “Do not weep, my friend. I will help you. Let us follow those tracks together!”

Inside the Wolf’s Cave 🪨
The three of them followed the heavy footprints deep into the woods until they reached a dark, rocky cave. Peeking cautiously through a small window, they saw the wolf humming a happy tune, wagging his tail, and stirring a massive pot of boiling water over a roaring fire.
“La-la-la… soon there’ll be delicious goat soup bubbling on the fire!” the wolf sang out, licking his chops. Inside the tied sack in the corner, the muffled, trembling sobs of the six little goats broke Mother Goat’s heart. “He is going to cook them!” she whispered in horror.
Just then, the wolf stretched his arms and yawned loudly. “While the water finishes boiling, I think I’ll enjoy a relaxing bath. Ah, nothing like a warm soak before a grand feast!” He grabbed a towel and walked into the adjoining bathing room.
Balu’s eyes lit up. He turned to Mother Goat and whispered excitedly, “This is our golden chance! Come on, let’s move!”

The Clever Switch 🔄
They crept silently into the cave, untied the heavy rope around the sack, and pulled all six trembling little goats out, hugging them in a silent, joyful reunion.
“My babies! You are safe,” Mother Goat whispered. “But we must teach this wicked wolf a lesson he will never forget.”
Balu grinned mischievously. “I have a perfect plan. Quick—tie me up inside this empty sack instead. Tie it tight!”
Mother Goat’s hands shook with fear. “But Balu… what if he hurts you? What if something goes wrong?”
Balu placed a reassuring, heavy paw on her shoulder and smiled confidently. “Mother Goat, do not worry for a second. I promise you, I can handle this bully. Trust me, we will outsmart him together.” Mother Goat nodded, tied Balu securely inside the sack, and hid behind the cave door with all seven of her children.

The Bully is Defeated!💥
A few moments later, the wolf walked back into the main room, happily drying himself with a towel. “Mmm, the water is boiling hot! Time for my goat soup!” he bragged, marching over to the sack. “Let’s see which plump little goat goes into the pot first—”
The moment he untied the knot, the sack burst open! Balu the Bear roared like thunder, leaping straight into the air. “MEEEEEE!!! This is the absolute end of your evil plans, wolf!”
The wolf’s eyes bulged right out of his head. Screaming in pure terror, he stumbled backward blindly, tripped over his own duster coat, and fell backwards—SPLASH!—straight into his own giant pot of boiling water!
“Aaahhh! It’s burning! Hot, unbearably hot!” the wolf howled, thrashing wildly as smoke rose from his scorched fur. “My tail, my paws, my fur—everything is on fire!” He scrambled out of the pot, crashed through his own cave door, and ran yelping into the wilderness, never to be seen or heard from again.

Home Sweet Home 🏡
Back outside the cave, Mother Goat and her seven little kids threw their arms around Balu, crying tears of joy. “Balu, you saved our family. How can we ever thank you enough?” Mother Goat said gratefully.
Balu smiled warmly, picking up the smallest goat and setting her on his shoulder. “By staying safe, my friends, and always remembering—kindness, teamwork, and true courage will always win over cruelty.”
Hand in hand, they walked all the way back across the green meadow. As the sun set, the seven little goats sang their mother’s favorite lullaby, completely happy, safe, and free once more.

💡 Moral of the Story:
“Bravery and teamwork can outsmart even the cleverest enemy. Love makes the smallest heart the strongest.”
