The School Bell Rings 🦁
Deep inside a lush green jungle, filled with tall trees, chirping birds, and flowing rivers, there stood a very special place—the beautiful Animal School. It was a place where little animals didn’t just study; they laughed, played, and grew together in harmony.
Ding… Ding… Ding…!
The school bell rang loudly. The mighty Lion, who was the strict but kind principal, walked slowly through the verandah. TAP… TAP… TAP… went his heavy walking stick on the floor.
“Hmm… discipline is the first rule of our school! No one should be late!” the Lion said in his deep, commanding voice. Hearing his voice, all the little animals quickly rushed into their classrooms.
Learning and Laughing Together 🐱
Inside the classroom, the little animals excitedly shuffled in their seats, ready for the day to begin. Puppy the Cat Teacher walked in with a big, cheerful smile.
“Good morning, my dear children!” she said. “Good morning, teacher!” all the animals chimed together happily. “Let’s begin our lesson! A for Apple…” Teacher Puppy started. “A for Apple!” the class shouted back in excitement.
Among the students sat three inseparable best friends: Zippu the Zebra, Elly the Elephant, and Milo the Monkey. They did everything together.
The Friendship Feast 🍪
During the afternoon tea break, the three friends ran happily to their favorite spot—a big, shady mango tree near the school playground.
Elly the Elephant smiled excitedly as he opened his school bag. “Hey friends! Look what I brought today… fresh, sweet bananas from the valley!”
Zippu the Zebra nodded warmly, “And my mom made sweet grass cakes this morning. I saved them just for our lunch!”
“Perfect!” Milo the Monkey cheered, sharing his food with joy. “And I brought crunchy roasted peanuts! Let’s mix everything together and make a big friendship feast!”
With hearts full of pure joy, the three friends held hands under the cool shade of the tree and began to sing their favorite song:

The Big Sparkling Surprise 🚗
One bright morning, something unbelievable happened at the school gates. The animals heard a loud ZOOM! ZOOM! and looked up. Milo arrived at school driving a shiny, sparkling new red car!
“Woooooow!” “Look at that amazing speed!” “Is that real?” the crowd of gathering animals gasped in wonder.
Lilly the Bunny jumped up and down in excitement, her eyes wide with amazement. “Milo! Is that… is that YOUR car?!”
Milo leaned back against the car door, puffed out his chest, and smiled proudly. “Yes! My rich uncle gifted it to me last night!”
He took out his phone. Click! Click! Milo stood on one foot, waved his hand stylishly, and posed for pictures again and again. But slowly, quietly, something dangerous began to grow inside his heart—the dark cloud of pride.
The First Signs of Pride 😔
Lilly the Bunny folded her hands, looking hopefully at the soft leather seats. “Can I… can I sit inside just once, Milo? Please?”
Milo looked at her with cold eyes and sneered, “No way, Lilly. Your paws are dusty. You might make my brand-new seats dirty.”
Lilly’s long ears slowly drooped. Her hopeful smile faded away, and she stepped back, deeply hurt.
Just then, Turtu the Turtle slowly walked near the shiny wheels. His tiny eyes were full of pure innocence and wonder. “Milo… I have never ever sat inside a real car before. Can I try it just once?”
Milo laughed out loud, pointing at the poor turtle. “You?! Sit in my fast car? You are too slow! By the time you manage to crawl inside, my car will get old and rusty! Hahaha!”
Zippu the Zebra whispered in a shocked tone to Elly, “That is so rude… how can he say that to Turtu?” Elly sighed heavily, whispering back sadly, “This is not the kind Milo we used to know. The car has changed him.”
The Mud Incident 😡
As the days passed, Milo’s arrogance grew worse. One sunny afternoon, Lilly the Bunny was walking peacefully on the side of the dirt road. Milo came speeding down the path, honking loudly.
“Check out my super-fast wheels! Zoom, zoom! Watch this!” Milo shouted arrogantly.
SPLASH! The fast wheels hit a puddle, and dirty black mud flew all over Lilly’s clean fur. Instead of stopping to apologize, Milo just looked in his mirror and laughed loudly. “Hahaha! Look at you, Lilly! You look ridiculous!”
Breaking the Golden Chain💔
Milo was now always busy with his car, driving around and mocking everyone he saw. The friends who once shared meals and laughed together under the shady tree now stood far apart. Finally, unable to watch his friend ruin himself, Elly the Elephant slowly walked up to Milo’s car.
“Milo… why are you avoiding us?” Elly asked, his voice filled with hurt. “We have been looking for you every lunchtime.”
Zippu the Zebra stepped forward with hope. “Come on, Milo… let’s go sit under our favorite tree like before. We miss our songs.”
Milo looked at his old friends with an arrogant shrug. “Are you kidding? You are all poor. I am rich and famous now. From now on, I only want rich friends who drive fast cars.”
Elly’s voice broke with sadness. “Milo… true friendship is not about money or cars.”
“Well, I don’t feel like I fit with you guys anymore,” Milo replied firmly, rolling up his car window. Those cold words broke his friends’ hearts. They turned around and walked away in painful silence.
The Terrifying Accident ⚡
More days passed, and Milo’s speed grew wilder. One evening, while driving recklessly down a steep jungle slope, he leaned out of the window to mock some passing animals. “Move aside, you poor slow walkers! Make way for the king of the road!”
Suddenly, a large sharp rock appeared right in front of him! Milo slammed his foot down.
SCREEEECH!
“Oh no! My brakes… they’re not working!” Milo screamed in terror.
The car lost total control, swerved violently off the road, and went—CRASH!!! straight into a massive oak tree. The engine smoked, and everything went completely silent. Milo lay inside the broken car, bleeding and unconscious.
True Friends to the Rescue 🚑
Just a few minutes later, Zippu and Elly were walking back home down that very same road.
Zippu suddenly stopped, pointing ahead in total shock. “Wait… Elly, look! Isn’t that… that’s Milo’s red car!”
Elly didn’t care about the mean words Milo had said before. He immediately took charge. “He is trapped inside and hurt! Quick, Zippu, he needs help right now!”
Without wasting a single second, Elly used his strong trunk to pry open the crushed car door, while Zippu quickly called for the jungle ambulance. Within minutes, the ambulance rushed through the jungle roads with its sirens wailing and reached the emergency hospital.
The doctors and nurses hurried out to the vehicle. “He has severe injuries! Take him straight to the ICU… quickly!” the head doctor ordered urgently.
The heavy doors of the Intensive Care Unit closed with a loud CLICK. Outside in the cold hallway, Elly and Zippu stood silently. They were tired and worried, but they did not move away from those doors—not even for a single moment.
A Heartbreaking Realization 🏥
Days went by quietly, with his loyal friends waiting faithfully by his side through the dark nights until the morning light returned.
Slowly, Milo opened his eyes. The bright hospital room came into focus. He looked to his left and saw Zippu and Elly sitting on the small chairs, looking exhausted, worried, and tired.
Milo’s throat felt dry, and his voice was weak and emotional. “You… you stayed here? For me? After everything I did?”
Zippu smiled gently, wiping a tear from his eye. “True friends never leave you in the dark, Milo. We are a team, remember?”
Milo burst into heavy tears, his chest heaving with deep regret. “I was so wrong… I hurt all of you so badly. I foolishly thought money and a shiny car made me special and superior…” He paused, reaching out to hold their hands. “But my expensive car didn’t come to save me. You did… you saved my life.”
Elly squeezed his hand kindly. “We missed our friend, Milo. We are just glad you are safe.” Milo sobbed, “I promise you all… never again will pride touch my he
The Greatest Treasure in the World 🌈
Back at school, under the bright, golden jungle sun, the old atmosphere returned. Milo was finally out of the hospital. He didn’t have his shiny car anymore, but he had something infinitely more valuable.
Under the grand mango tree, Milo happily shared his peanuts and fruits with everyone—Lilly the Bunny, Turtu the Turtle, and his fiercely loyal best friends. He proved once and for all that true, loving friends are the greatest treasure in the whole wide world.
With smiling faces and joined hands, they sang their new favorite song:
